WHAT IS “RIOT ON FREMONT”?
“Riot on Fremont” is a DIY punk rock music event at Hennessey’s Tavern in downtown Las Vegas during Memorial Day weekend (May 22nd, 23rd, 24th 2026).
WHY DID YOU CREATE “RIOT ON FREMONT”?
We created the festival in partnership with Hennessey’s to give people a place to meet up, hang out, grab some food and drinks, and listen to some of the best up-and-coming bands from around the country.
ARE YOU ASSOCIATED WITH “PRB”?
We are not. We are a completely separate and independent entity run by musicians for musicians. While we do appreciate and are avid attendees of Punk Rock Bowling, we are not directly associated or affiliated with the organization.
WHAT IS THE COST?
Free! That’s right. We aren’t charging you to come and listen. We HIGHLY ENCOURAGE you to support Hennessey’s Tavern and Mickie Finnz while attending the event by buying food and drinks from either establishment.
CAN MY BAND SUBMIT TO PLAY?
YES!!! All punk, ska, rockabilly, psychobilly, and sleaze rock bands are encouraged to submit! Check out the submission form to submit!
WHEN WILL BANDS BE NOTIFIED?
We will notify selected bands in January 2026. Please do not email asking if your band was selected. You will be contacted.
WHY CAN’T INTERNATIONAL BANDS APPLY?
Due to the current “administration” we are unable to provide international bands with sponsorship, which would cause issues with visas. We hope to be able to change this in the future.
I DON’T HAVE A BAND BUT I WANT TO HELP. HOW CAN I?
We will be looking for volunteers to help with band changeovers and running different aspects of the event. If you are interested in volunteering your time, send us an email with “VOLUNTEER” as the subject.
ARE YOU LOOKING FOR VENDORS OR SPONSORS?
YES AND YES! If you are interested in sponsoring or being a vendor, send us an email with either “SPONSOR” or “VENDOR” as the subject.
IS THIS ALL AGES?
It certainly is.
CAN WE SUPPORT BY SENDING YOU SOME CASH?
While it’s not necessary, we will gladly accept any funding to help us pay bands. We have a small budget, and the more support we have, the more we can pay the bands. Email us with “BACKER” in the subject line, and we can send you a PayPal or Venmo link. Thank you in advance!
